Good except for having two accounts

Everything is good. Easy to navigate. However, I don't understand WHY I have two accounts under the same phone number. One sign-in credential is my email and the other is my email without the @hotmail.com. Can I combine the two accounts because it is very confusing to have two and very inconvenient. Why not identify that there is already an account with the same phone number as most websites/platforms do rather than letting customers create more than one account under the same phone number. Understand that customers typically only use this website ONCE a year, so it's common to forget username.
