I want more details about the calculations. $40 to deduct from my refund is very steep, especially considering the ones who use it are the ones who can't afford $39 at the time of filing. I am very disappointed in seeing poor people who rely on their returns to keep them from living from paycheck to paycheck being taken advantage of. My bank charges $5 for transfers so I know the $40 amount is purely a greedy money grab. Overall the service is convenient and helpful, not much to improve but the $40 processing fee leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I will probably look to give that kind of money to an individual that files taxes for a living next year.
