I started using Turbotax because it was advertised to me as a free service. It's not, but I don't know how to file my taxes without it. Maybe one of these years I'll figure it out so I can save $39.

EXEMPTIONS WRONG

IT DID NOT USE THE CORRECT NUMBER OF EXEMPTIONS AND THUS MY STANDARD DEDUCTION WAS TOO LOW AND I COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX IT!

I completely disagree with being charged twice for federal and state returns, on top of not being able to file anything outside of a W2 without "upgrading" my account. TurboTax is the solution to a problem that should not exist and is largely created by TurboTax's lobbying efforts. I am glad I can contribute to the millions spent each year to make sure I cannot file directly with the IRS. Until next time, TurboTax. I do not look forward to it.
