Worst tax filing experience thus far.

Absolute joke. Only thing this site did was force upgrades in my face. And when I had to purchase one of the upgrades because I had a 1099 NEC, which apparently you can't file those for free just like a W-2, they didn't do anything helpful. Not to mention, that "upgrade" was supposed to be $39 and turned out to be $159 with everything included.

THE SERVICE IS NOT AS USER FRIENDLY OR COST EFFECTIVE AS JUST GOING TO YOUR LOCAL TAX PREPARER. THERE ARE SEVERAL STEPS AND YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR TAX RETURN BEFORE YOU KNOW IF YOU ARE EVEN GETTING ANYTHING BACK.
