When entering one of the 1099-R forms for a very small value of $26.00, the software forced me to input data for self-employment. This was an amount generated from a union agreement for legal services.
Also rejected filings for not having spouses AGI on a joint filing, but never asked for a value during the original filing.
I have used Turbo Tax for many years and am completely satisfied with the product! It guides me through my tax return which makes it easy for me to get it done.
It's frustrating that I can't go back to the original questions to change what I clicked on. For example, I clicked that I had received a 1099A when in reality I received a 1099C. I answered questions based on a 1099A. When i tried to change it, I couldn't go back to the original question. Also, I had difficulty with the HSA question, when I did the review, it did not go back to the original questions, but it took me to the worksheets which were difficult to read. Then on the worksheets it had some questtion about a high deductible which I did not ever see on the questions that were presented to me. Turbo tax was difficult to use this year which is frustrating. I hope i don't get in trouble.
