a complete scam. made me file deluxe when i had absolutely no need to just so they could steal $128. Do yourself a favor and file somewhere else

I've used it for several years. It makes a complex tax easy, presenting just one question at a time and making sure everything looks right along the way. I like the ability to quickly compare this year to the previous year and see if anything jumps out as being too different.

Over Turbo Tax

This year was the biggest pain with Turbo Tax. Firstly it charges $153 for basic I do all the work returns. But we also opened the child care expense to realize we didn’t qualify for that deduction and could not delete the form what so ever. Followed the Turbo Tax recommendation and after a battle just had to delete and restart everything.

I chose not to engage the expert this year, but I’m open to considering it for next year. While some aspects of the website could be more user-friendly, especially when it comes to correcting errors, I took the initiative to find solutions online and navigated the site successfully to make the necessary changes.
