I found Turbo Tax to be very helpful. They are thorough and work through the federal and state taxes methodically, exploring every nuance, with multiple chances to review and check all entries. The only thing I didn't like was periodically being prompted to switch to a more expensive product. Also, I was under the impression that I was using a free edition, but it ended up costing me $78 ($39 each for the federal and state return). That being said, it is well worth it, even with these minimal fees; I just wish they had been up front about the fact that it was not free.

Turbo tax is always so easy and convenient. But the price to file is too much. And if you want to take the cost out of your return to make it "easier" they take an ADDITIONAL 40 dollars as a processing fee on top of the fee it costs to file federal and state. I'm still giving 4 stars, but that price is a lot in my opinion.
