Helpful, stressful and expensive

I don't understand why it is so much money. Easy to use if you don't have literally anything other than W2's and student loan info. If you made any payments using your HSA they don't explain anything to you and it's super confusing

Federal, yea, State? Not so much

Ok..federal is 4 to 5 stars, for my simple return.
But, state ??? I thought this was filed a month ago.
Everything in the return appeared to show my state income tax was in fact filed and completed.
Oops.
If I hadn't checked, I might have forgotten it completely.
No notification, nothing asking me " do you wish to continue, and file your state income tax now?".

I followed all instructions . I approved everything, and the site Said " You're all set!".
That's it.
That's ridiculous I have to follow up to actually get my state filed.

Bait and Switch federal isn't free for most

I hate the TurboTax lies about free federal returns and then charges in the end. This feels like a bait and switch and is super shady.
