Turbotax is really good

Pretty easy with following directions. Took me over 55min because only half of the form loaded leaving half of the form was missing. Those that loaded properly were fine. I don't think I'd recommend the "online" version instead of downloading the App

I did my taxes on my own. it would be nice if it was free for an expert to offer help but that wasn't the case.

Hidden Fees

I love the service, but am frustrated that there was $100 in fees not shown when choosing to upgrade to deluxe which shows only $40. We spent more money upgrading than we benefit by including the special tax circumstance that required the Deluxe version.

SCAM

I'm pretty sure I just got scammed. Why was it going to be free to file my state taxes but then the second I upgraded to deluxe for what was said would be only $39 I suddenly had to pay an additional $39 to file my state taxes? Nothing about my stat taxes changed. They've done this before and got in trouble for it, I guess they didn't learn their lesson. I won't be using again next year.
