what a bait and switch

They found a 401k investment benefit that made me 50$ which I assume everyone gets if they invest in their 401k. This "benefit" then precluded me from filing for free and forced me to file using their upgraded service. Their upgraded service charged 39$ filing fee for federal AND state ... Then they added some random 40 dollar fee ( I assume they advertised get your return 5 days early for 20$ and again it charges for BOTH state and federal) . All this while they advertise free return processing then force you to pay for their services anyways. But why do you care you can just have it taken out of your tax return so you will never notice that by the end you paid 120 dollars for a free service. Paying for a service doesn't bother me. What does bother me is the slimey way in which they ended up forcing me to pay and then on top of it they make the fee seem like an all inclusive fee when it's applied separately. I'm sure the price is fine but why make it feel like a your scamming people? It's dirty
