Overpriced and still has quirks in it.

I'm unemployed. My total income for 2024 was less than $1500. I've got no challenging or strange tax issues for either Fed or State. The IRS sent me a letter (not a Form) saying I received "taxable interest" in 2024 for $369. TT had no line for this in their tax forms. I used the search feature and got nothing. I ended up reporting it as some "other" state interest income because there was no where else to report it. I used TT this year because I've used it every year for the past several years, but as simple as my return was, TT still charged me $88. I think this is my last year for TT.

I love how Turbo Tax explains the finer details but yet handles all of the computations! I like the flexibility it offers to go back and review previous items and information as well as the peace of mind I have knowing that all information is reviewed carefully before submitting this important document to the IRS.

Excellent way of filing federal and state taxes. Even though I was at then end and reviewing, I found an error (mine) and was able to correct it on the federal return, even after I had paid, and it corrected throughout without any difficulty. This was impressive. I also did not have to go to the deluxe product. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially seniors, as I can use the standard deduction and save time and money. I still use the charitable deduction on my State form and save money there. Thank you for this great service.
