I own a house and have mortgage interest and property taxes, EVERY year I take the standard deduction because its more and EVERY year I have to pay to file. It seems to me if I am using the standard deduction I should be able to file for free.

Turbo Tax: For sure fast, but not for sure free.

It works and it is fast. There are other ways to file for free for real free. It made me upgrade just cause I have a 401K. That's like they want to charge you for doing good for yourself. How hard is it to input those numbers. Lol. Anyway The fact that it retains last years info and stuff really helps. It does make it fast. So I went with fast over completely free.
