Love Turbo Tax and Intuit products. Did not interact with a Live person this year, but have in the past and have always been happy with the service and knowledge they provide.
I have used the PC version for many years. I thought I would try the online version this year, thinking it was cheaper and would cover our needs. It turned out the same price and much more confusing: no way to switch to the underlying forms and nearly ended up paying $3000+ more in taxes than I should. I know tax laws have changed but the underlying plumbing should not be that breakable. There were things around school district taxes that I could not find a way to correct, short of deleting it and starting over. I could not get 1099-Rs to ask the questions I needed to answer. Neither of those are uncommon situations. I will definitely not be using the web version next year. I may even try another vendor because of how many times "buy this add-on" was shoved at me, as the default behavior that I had to explicitly decline.
