Advertising for free is a total scam

It's annoying that they advertise this for free and i always end up paying almost $100 to fill my taxes.

My tax filing process this year was WAY easier to manage than last year's endeavors! Mainly due to an erroneous mailing address listed under my working company which I had no power over. I was forced to print and mail my taxes through the USPS last year as a result. This year was nowhere near as stressful. All my original information was retrieved, many tax breaks were offered and only a couple slight errors sprouted up but nothing as overwhelming as last year.
My only -1 * gripe would be having to be forced to pay extra for "tax-assessment services" when I really have no desire to use any additional services offered through TurboTax. I want the process to stay as reasonably affordable as humanly possible. Why humanly? Because AI-generated anything needs to go far, far away.
But I digress.
Only 1 star dinged and that's from pinning additional charges on my tab for these fancy extra over-&-above services that I personally feel like I'll never actually use.
Otherwise, this service made my taxes WAY less stressful to file this year. So thanks for that! :)
