confusing

still very confusing. I had money listed for Box 14. But it kept kicking out for the dollar amount (says it should be zero) But I still don't know. I also had state income tax, but no where to list it

Turbo Tax is very good.

For the most part Turbo Tax has a good user interface. There are times where it is a bit confusing, but if willing to pay more for the MAX service, I'm sure that would solve any confusion. Our tax return is fairly simple so felt no need to use the MAX service.

Tax issues with state taxes for military retirees

Overall, it's a good product however it doesn't properly address my case with Wisconsin State taxes. Specifically, military retirement income is not taxed in Wisconsin, so I don't have to pay any state taxes. Your program does not recognize this and would have me paying around $3900 to the state. It also encouragers me to take the state tax deduction on my federal tax form which isn't legal since I never paid any state tax to begin with.
