First TSP & Roth IRA stuff

Just filed my first professional tax on my own. After years of doing my personal taxes through Turbotax. I am a lot more comfortable in filing my first tax that included stiff like TSP and Roth IRA. The confidence comes from knowing even if I made a mistake. I can re-track my steps because it was an easy step-by-step process.

Turbo Tax & the government got theirs

I'm on a fixed income as a Disabled Veteran. $118 to file a return I inputed on my own in a computer program seems a bit high of a price. But, I guess the government and accountants need their pound of flesh!

Use the IRS website

Slow web site, frequent crashes. This is one time where I would recommend using the IRS website and file for free if you only need the standard deduction.
