Filing taxes should be free, but if corporate lobbying forces me to pay a greedy corporation for what should be a free public service, then I guess this worked fine. I resent that TurboTax designs pages to look like things are required, when it's just them trying to upsell products or get people to sign their data away for sale to third parties for free. It's scammy and TurboTax should be ashamed themselves.
