Turbo Tax is a SCAM

Turbo tax may be a fast and easy way to file taxes if you've been suing them for a while, but the cost to file is so far beyond stupid/. Let me go ahead and pay taxes on everything I do, everywhere I live, everything I buy, and for the time I spend working. Turbo tax sends you through the entire process before saying "hey, you also are forced to upgrade because we can't help you out with an HSA that means nothing to us". The fees, then the additional fee for who knows what is not worth all the time spent using the platform. I WILL be using another method next year where I know I do not have to pay ridiculous fees for the government to take more of my money for no reason.

Sleazy pricing is different for everyone

Not only was I charged the extra "deluxe" version for something that should have been a basic tax situation, but my husband and I sat right next to each other with the same income, same forms, same everything, and his deluxe cost was $10 cheaper than mine for both the "original" price and the "discounted" price. I've always known Turbo Tax is a racket but this really takes the cake.
