TurboTax is so so.

I've used TurboTax for several years. I had a lot more trouble with it this year. It would not incorporate the information from last year.

You CANNOT Use Free Version If You Have an HSA!

TurboTax requires you to upgrade to Deluxe if you have an HSA and you or your employer made contributions. This means you are charged for Federal AND State taxing, as well as an extra processing fee if you use your tax return to pay. This was only disclosed at the END of filing the taxes when the user SHOULD be informed of this at the beginning of the process. I will search for a new tax service that does not use this tactic.

When if first used turbo tax it seemed so fair and helpful but know when i use it i can't help but feel like im getting scammed. My first return was 100% free now im getting charged close to 100 dollars to file now. Also im seemingly getting so much less back now than i used too.

Don't make me use the state option nor pay for it

very easy to use, enjoy carry over of information. Biggest issue was i did not want to use the state to file, or to pay for the state filing, but there was no obvious way to get out of completing the state or choosing not to file and pay for the state. There was no option to delete the state or not pay for it. I had to pay $39 more than i should have, or wanted to
