Helpful And Hurtful

I believe I've used TurboTax almost every time I've processed my taxes, and certainly every time over the past 5 years at minimum. So I say this as a regular user of this site, which has often helped my neurodivergent self do my taxes every year. This stuff legitimately cannot be easily processed by my mind, and TurboTax's nice interface, easy to use system, and clear and concise language has helped a lot.
I make a measly 2 Star review because I am quite disheartened that the fees ended up taking nearly a 1/4 of my refund. I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. Unless I missed some opportunities to lessen that, I'm rather displeased by the height of the fees this year. I do not recall them being this much before, so it was a stomach-dropping shock to see that as I finished the process.

Big goof on 2023 Oregon state tax calculation.

Have used Turbo Tax several years without problem until last year 2023 Oregon State return when my refund was way out of line and after responding to the states inquiries i have still not received my state refund for 2023.

Honestly, Turbo Tax has just turned the nightmare of taxes into not a nightmare. I have used them for the past 5 years or so and don't really think that'll change any time soon.
