Be upfront, stop with the hidden fees

TurboTax is fine and makes it easy to file taxes when I don't understand the process well. However, TurboTax hides fees that they don't tell you about until you have already done most of your taxes. Like what do you mean I have to pay you an additional $35 dollars to file my federal and state together? Never said that anywhere when I started. And TurboTax advertises itself as a free or cheap option but I just had to spend $88 dollars just to use it. That's not cheap. I just find it shady and misleading and I think TurboTax needs to be more upfront with their pricing from the start.
