A little confused with the new format

I have been filing with Turbo Tax for about 10 years. This was the most confusing time for me. Maybe because this is new and I haven't seen this style but it took a lot of getting used to and this is the most unsure I have ever been while completing my taxes. Literally, I got to the end and it said I owed 6,000. That was scary but I had to go all the way back and see what I missed and feel like the previous years just took me step by step through my taxes and this was just hard.
