The system was very user friendly and easy to go through, however all the extra fees are disheartening. I have been using Turbo Tax for years and am saddened to see all the extra costs added to the once very inexpensive program.

Turbo Tax Misleading as ever

I am just confused because when I read the original advertisement it stated that this service would be free as a first time user. Sadly, on Turbo Tax's end that was not the case. Everything was going smoothly and right when I am getting to the end of the processing, they start to unload fees after fees. It is pretty convenient when you are about finished to just start slapping on fees. Great business idea.

I would have liked there not to be mandatory charges stated AFTER being charged for the initial filing fee. It feels like a small-fee money grab. When you take into account this is a thing for many people, then you know that all that adds up. Our economy is in a state where the everyday working family needs every dollar. It isn't right to take advantage of that. Fees should be stated in the beginning to ensure the filer understands the expectation- Not at the end when they are one button away from filing. I am aware that TurboTax is vastly cheaper than many tax filing systems. Stay ahead of the competition by letting your users know!

Good but some glitches

While it was fairly easy to use, there are a few frustrating things. It did not recognize my financial institutions so I had to load the tax documents myself. It did not allow me to review my return at the very end - even though I hit the button to review, the returns never loaded despite waiting 20 minutes. I had to log in again to get back to where I left off. I tried 3 times and finally gave up and just went on to the File page. I could not print my receipt after payment - an empty page came up.
