Turbo Tax is very easy

No interaction with a rep. We've always done our own taxes using turbo tax. My wife (52 on 02/12) has only ever used turbo tax with no issues. Recently it will not allow us to use the free version, which has been a bit annoying. She hasn't worked since July 2022 due to having Covid 12 times leading to Long Covid. My W2 is the only information that's entered. The system doesn't even ask for our 1098 any more. Since she's not been working we've tried to use Head of Household, it says I qualify for it but won't give me the option to use it. It's very easy and quick, any ?'s we have are answered.

There was AI in it.

There aren't many things that make a company look less trustworthy than adding AI features to its product. I'm very glad you can file directly through the IRS now and will probably be doing that next time, now that I've seen use of AI in the Q&A sections.

Turbo Tax cost my more in state taxes

I did my taxes on hr block and messed up with one of the final selections otherwise I would of used them. I only had to pay 74 dollars in ct taxes with them. With these guys I now owe 419$ same information I used on h & r. Next year I'll be using h & r for sure. Thanks turbo tax
