Thoughts to Make the Experience Better

While most of the experience was quite smooth, it would really save time if there was a message at the beginning of a deduction section for when the deduction would not apply. This way time is not wasted uploading documents or entering data when you won't even qualify for the tax deduction based on something obvious like your MAGI. Just something that could make the experience even better in the future.

Starting to feel like a bait and switch

TurboTax was more user friendly years ago. It seems to be less navigable now and forces you into questions that don't have the correct answer to check and you can't go back. Also, I don't remember clicking Add $44 for a service I don't know what it did. I only knowingly agreed to Deluxe but that too was a forced option. Per your own text, I only needed to use Deluxe if I had more than $1500 interest income. I had less than $1000. Therefore, I should have been able to file via the standard at $19. TT is beginning to feel like a bait and switch app. I will probably switch to another service or file free with each gov agency next year.

TurboTax is the best for taxes

I use turbo tax every year and love it. Makes it easier and I don't have to go in person to a tax center. Also, I can file at my own pace
