An acceptable but bloated solution

The web page slows down as you use it because it's constantly sending telemetry and other metrics about you to Intuit's servers - none of which is actually necessary for filing your taxes, mind you.
In addition, the mid-return upsells are annoying and undesired. It would be better to only try and upsell once at the end of the process right before filing taxes.

Been using Turbo Tax for many years now. Getting easier and easier to prepare taxes. I would be nice to have a running tally of your return at the top of the page as you have done in years past.

They push you too much to pay for “better service”

It use to be way better in 2019. I do not like how they press you for you to pay for their “better quality services”. I paid, and I didn’t really have any services to help me.

Turbo Tax use to be free.

Turbo Tax used to have a free edition. Not they charge you for doing it yourself. There's free file places at irs.gov
