Federal retirement pension exemptiom

I always did my own taxes for years. Once I started using TURBOTAX, it was entertaining and educational. Over the past several years not so much fun. The tax questions have expanded with little relevance to my situation, but I understand. One problem persists: Arizona allows $2,500 deduction from federal income for federal retirement pensions, item 29a. There is no direct question addressing this. I have to list in under other exempt income every time.

TurboTax is nice but....

It was super easy to file and the file processing is pretty accurate. But it basically cost the same amount as it would have been with a local tax agent. It was still cool to do it yourself I guess but not really that cost effective.
