Turbo Tax says you can file for free but that isn't really true. You can use their app to do your taxes for free, but it costs you $39 to file each the federal and state, then there is an additional processing fee and refund processing fee: so your 'file for free' costs you $118! Just be honest in disclosing how much it costs.
Yes, there are other options to file, but doing your taxes once is stressful enough and by the time you get to the end to file and discover all the fees it's overwhelming to redo them all again on another vendor. It's disappointing that there just isn't honesty and transparency in what things actually cost.

Finding the right product after sign in

In the beginning, I had a hard time getting to the product that I wanted. I didn't want "live" and it took me a while to find the "do it yourself" version of online deluxe. I started on the wrong "live" version and then had to "start over" in order to find the "do it yourself" version!
