I have used TurboTax for several years and have always been satisfied with it I think it is a great way to file your taxes. Much easier than going to one on the tax preparer offices.

I used to swear by turbotax to get the best of my tax return. But now that Im married and tried to file jointly for the first time I had nothing but roadblocks misunderstandings and loss of tax return than if I were to file single. I trusted turbotax to ease my frustration, not add too it

Do not use TurboTax if you value integrity

TurboTax makes filling out your information and filing extremely easy. In exchange they force you to navigate a minefield of unnecessary fees that one opted into are oppressively difficult to remove. Navigating the website in any fashion other than straight the the tax filing process is very intentionally obfuscated and horrific. They want you to pay for a service that is advertised amd legally required to be offered for free just because you clicked the button and couldn't figure out how to change it afterwards. Furthermore, services that are also free to submit on your own are only offered as paid services just because they can. Outside of the scummy, scam-like approach to acquiring processing fees, I couldn't change my direct deposit from my old bank account because their website is unnavigable garbage. 100% do not recommend and I have no intentions of ever using it again. I sincerely hope the company goes out of business as the American people would be better off without them.
