Overseas Issue

Most situations are covered well, but I did have a issue with the payment for the tax returns. Phone and Addresses are based only on stateside. I like many military related personnel don't live state side so we do not have addresses, we have PO boxes and our phone numbers are to long for your forms.

Fee Charge Nonsense

The fees they charge you keep adding and they're ridiculous. How do you agree to a one time fee to file and end up with a 200 plus fee more that you didn't agree on but they said it was needed in order to proceed.

Paid version was ridiculously confusing this year

I am a longtime user. This year, 2025, it was ridiculously confusing to file a simple 2024 return using the paid version of TurboTax. Why the change?? I kept getting guided into the 2023 tax return. INSANE!! Took me almost 5 hours.

Turbo Tax is easy but a little sneaky with fee add

It defiantly made filing easier however it forced me to add the turbo tax deluxe and then continue to add fees after fees so by the end their were a total of 3 additional fees. I would give it 2 and a half stars because it did make it easier to file with just uploading my w-2 and having explanation for everything to help with the confusing and I would recommend it to someone who isn't sure how to file their taxes but will also let them know about all the possible fee add on.
