TurboTax is great on federal, rotton on state

I had to look up a lot of information about the state return on my own because the help section wasn't that good. Because of that, it took over 3 hours to file my returns. If the information was part of the software, I could have filed much more quickly and saved money by filing a day earlier. I'm glad to be done, but it wasn't as intuitive as it has been in the past. I filed early to get the discount, but it took so long to look up the info, I had to go to bed and start again in the morning. I lost the discount by a day. It took longer than before and I spent more than before. Disappointed.

Fast and Easy

I filed with the standard return and it took just over 30 minutes. Every step includes help and information links and are easy to understand. Filing the Federal used to be free and you only had to pay to file the state but the convenience and ease of filing with Turbo Tax makes it worth the fee.
