Turbo Tax is painful for me

As a CPA (retired) filing my own return I hate Turbo Tax because it's made for the ignorant. It is a great software for those who don't know how to file a return but not for me. I just want to enter my data, going from one applicable screen to another so give me an option to do that, like your Lacerte software. I don't need you folks to guide me through it.

I have been using Turbo Tax since almost since I turned 18 and it is always a reliable and helpful tool. Almost ever single options I am presented with has a thorough and clear explanation of what is being asked and whether it applies to me. It even explains why you got the returns you did and gives great options for paying fees and receiving the return.

Simple and user friendly. Always get my maximum return amout. Would recommend if your taxes are simple. It isn't actually free as it leads you to believe while filling out the form though.
