TurboTax charged $158 for receiving a $43 credit!!

This was my worst experience with turbo tax. I have been using it for years but this year because it remembers most of the information but this year it didn't. It also was horrible at explaining the calculations for the 529 distributions. I still have no idea why it included a portion of the distribution on my taxable income. It was all used for qualified educational expenses in fact it was all used for tuition.

The cost ends up being more then initially shown

Using Turbo Tax is convenient, but pricing ends up being more then initially shown. I had received an email from Turbo Tax tax showing Deluxe costs $39, I followed the link in that email the same day and the price showed $49. Then when I finished, they charged me $69 for the same Deluxe without anything different. After using TurboTax for more then 10 years this may be my last, out of principal.....

turbo tax let me down

failed to store mytaxes for 2023 and now I can't retrieve my wife's AGI After contacting turbo tax and questioned why I can't get the agi I need and question how after filing jointly would she have an individual a g i? couldn't get an answer to that question either. right now Ii'm so Frustrated Next year after using turbo tax for many many yearsI might do bussiness elsewhere!

Tax Preparation and filing shouldn't be for-profit

I am so tired of us Americans having to pay for services that no one else in the world needs to. Even when I want to file with no help, I got funneled having to pay for extra when I didn't want to. And at the end I couldn't use my federal refund to pay as it is advertised, it just charged my bank account despite me selecting using the return.
