TurboTax is greedy

Turbo Tax does this thing where it'll tell you that you can file your taxes for free then all of sudden you have to pay for the deluxe version because they found your taxes to be difficult. They then hit you with fees to take more of your money even if you only needed the deluxe version for federal they force you to tact on that fee for state. Taxes are mandatory so we have no choice but to have our money taking from us because turbotax has lobbiest to advocate for their corporate greediness. But hey at least I won't face jail time for filing my taxes :)

The tax preparation is great. You will have to pay closer attention to avoid their up-selling than filing your taxes.

Turbo Tax is never free

TURBOTAX IS NOT EVER FREE
However its cheaper then others ,Fairly easy if you read things thoroughly and look up meanings on google if your not sure what a AGI is and other abbreviations similar.
