Hidden Fees

live expert unhelpful, did not explain my questions well. There were way more fees this time than previous years. I had to pay for 3 separate "necessary" adjustments by turbotax that I never had to pay before. This time it felt like a scam. Will probably change how I complete taxes next year. Disappointed.

I have used this for the past several years. It's easy, I like the 'auto fill' and one of these years I will use the option to upload my W2s rather than type it myself!

TurboTax is too expensive, especially for teachers

There should be a way for an educator to file for the teacher's tax credit without going through all the questions for itemizing deductions if one knows in advance that he/she will be taking the standard deductions. I resent being charged nearly $60 just for that. When I first started using TurboTax the cost was much more reasonable.
