Turbotax is overpriced! Took most of my tax return

I thing it is too expensive for basic, bottom line help and the fact that there are fees just to process that are not disclosed earlier in the tax process. If I knew id lose 80% of my return just to pay for help processing it I would have stopped using TurboTax EMEADIATLY

Scam software, I'm just hiring an accountant

This is advertised as a free software but I am charged every step of the way for state and federal taxes and then on top of that I am charged to use my own refund to pay. But the excuse is I need the deluxe version because I was financially responsible and put money in a 401k and that is not a simple tax return.

Very unhappy with all the fees. I signed up for MAX, ended up being charged processing fees, fee for addl. products, etc. All total $168.00
