At this time, I feel a teacher getting 116. from federal and 35 from state is paying 118.00 for turbo tax is too much.

Overpriced and poor experience.

My experience was poor. For what I am paying for Deluxe ($69), I cannot understand why I had to pay an additional $59.00 to file my Illinois State Taxes. My tax situation is not very complex. Furthermore, once I completed everything and went to e-file, I received an error message indicating that the e-filing could not be completed because my e-mail was not verified. After logging into my account settings and confirming that my email was in fact already verified, I had to click through the e-file submission process two times more before it finally went through. This service is NOT worth $127, and I plan to look elsewhere next year; the only reason I didn't go with another filing software this year was because it was simply not worth my time to have to retype in all my 2024 information into a different tool, but that will not be a factor next year.

Forced to pay for delux because my 19 year old cashed out a 401k check from a summer employer. Cost $118 just to get $26 back and then at the end - an added $40 processing fee. rip off
