hidden fees? third parties?

turbotax is decently easy to use, however I didn't like the pop up fees along the way. I thought I was paying $100 to file thru turbo tax and then It says I owed them $180 after I was done filing. I may as well have someone else do my taxes at that price. I also was very confused about the third parties I had to keep signing for. How many people have access to my social now? I tried calling and was on hold for an hour, then had to leave for work. not stoked on taxes this year.
