I am a currently a college student and one thing I absolutely enjoy are engaging, fun, and interactive materials. I love how Turbo Tax keeps up with that trend.

Misleading Fees

I was expecting to pay about $65. I'm not sure where all these extra charges came that total was almost $170. At each point I was offered an upgrade, I declined. Yet, there it v was at the end. I was so frustrated with how long it took, how many times I had to try and snap a pic of my W2 before info was populated correctly, but I just paid for it to be over. I feel cost is very misleading. It felt misleading. Like I was being tricked, or just add-ons were put on without authorization. At the final payment breakdown, you should be able to edit your service fees without have to review from beginning. Just review what you are being charged for.

Surprise, it's not free!

just didnt like the surprise fee of $69 at the very end, just before filinf. Said it was free to file.... not true!

I have been with Turbo Tax for 4 years, this year would be my 5th, I highly recommend! Amazing Service, Easy Access and Totally awesome response time for assistance. 🙂

Almost perfect, except

Love it. Just wish the glitch for entering $0 in certain sections would be fixed so I dont have to delete my State return after having completed it, in order to correct whatever New Employment or Native Heritage section that results in TurboTax forcing me to fill out a form I don't need. Or at least add a line to each stating 'Leave Blank if this does not apply to you' so you Know you can leave it blank without it being marked as unfinished.

Easy to use but TurboTax advertises they are free. They used to be! Now they are not. I lost $100 from my return filing with TurboTax. I will be filing somewhere else next year.
