Fees can get wild

Thankful I don't have to file all by myself but an 70 dollar federal return option for a thing I could not to back and review if I even needed and then on top of that a 40 dollar fee to pay that 70 dollars is kind of insane.

helpful but expensive. it charged me 128 bucks when it was first gonna be 78 no idea why it changed didn’t any new package or anything

Can't believe I used to pay a prep service close to $300 every year and they would swamp you with paperwork, print an enormous pile of forms to make you believe it's too complicated and impossible to do yourself. Since making the switch to TurboTax, we have saved so much money and maximized our return. It's incredibly user friendly and walks you thru every step quickly.
