TurboTax Has Fallen

TurboTax is helpful, with hidden fees waiting at every turn! Within 30 minutes, I went from filing completely federal and state for $0 to paying $168 total once everything was said and done. Transparently, I had a filing situation that did require the "Deluxe" option, which is a cost I was expecting. What the "Deluxe" option fails to tell you is that it is $68 to file federal, and an additional $68 to file for state. Oh, and when you choose to pay with your refund, there is an additional $40 fee attached to that.
I have been a loyal TurboTax user for the last decade of doing my taxes and will be finding a better option after the last two years of feeling frustrated by this tax service.

Worst experience ever.

Worst years ever for turbo tax. I have Been using TurboTax for years and never been thi unsatisfied. I was ok paying for basic but now 69$ to use the software, 40$ dollar PROCESSING, and then another 35$ to send to my bank. NEVER AGAIN. I've found several groups that provide FREE returns and I will be referring everyone there from now on.
