It's not as good as it was in the past.

Turbo Tax wasn't as user friendly as in prior years. For example, when entering 1099-INT information from prior years there wasn't an edit/amend option. It took a little while to figure this out. Usually Turbo Tax is better. In addition, what is up with the discount for non-turbo tax users. Why wouldn't you reward your return customers?

Not clear instructions

Have been using app for 8 years now. interface has become more difficult to understand year over year ... and there are no discounts for return customers. I'll move to other apps next year

Time to make the jump from the desktop version

I've used the desktop version for years. The transition to the on-line version was rather painless. In fact, it felt more streamlined, and I typically use the "walk me through it" approach to these applications. One hiccup, easily overcome...my employer's transfer of W-2 failed this year with several tries, but that could be on either end.
