Good service

It’s fast and efficient but the fees are a little outrageous… went from $80 to $129 + OTHER fees if you pay from your refund which is stupid because they’re basically making you pay for deluxe when you chose not to to begin with 🤷🏼♀️

Hidden fees

I like the easy format but when it says it's free it should be free. The extra hidden fees should be disclosed at the beginning. I fill this out for my daughter who is a college student and doesn't make much to begin with so it's not fair to have it set up this way.

TurboTax is a little overpriced for users that don't need all the extra bells and whistles that are available, and asks for "Max" way too much.

So easy!

Very easy to manage. I moved states for the first time and it was SO easy to put in all the info quickly and it would adjust for me! I reviewed everything to make sure it was all correct and sure enough I got my taxes done early & in almost no time. However, at first it wouldn’t allow me to pay using my refund but I waited a few days and re-tried and it worked! Nothing out of pocket for me.

Turbo tax made me pay $69 for the deluxe only because of my healthcare insurance. Since the free version only does “ simple returns “. It was this or go somewhere else. Not much choice.
