More time than predicted but not bad at all....

Didn't like the hidden fees or the lack of clear understand on state credits when filing multi-state returns, but overall appreciated the ease of the product. I will say it did not take me the 31 mins they advised, but rather like 3 hours, as I had to read and verify and collect some items not advised initially. Overall still good experience and thankful to be done filing! Whew!

Not FREE

I have used Turbo Tax for decades (different accounts) although they say I’ve only used it 4 or 5 times. In other words I am a loyal customer. My financial status has changed and I was eligible to file for free. However, I feel TT tricked me into a filing charge of around $130 dollars. The only income I had was Social Security and I had no unusual tax events. My return should have been free.

Too expensive to file on my own vs hiring someone

It is helpful that it saves information from previous year’s tax filings, and the helpful hints that are available at each step, but it is way too expensive to file and pay taxes on this website. It takes a large chunk of my already small tax return to file with this website when it didn’t used to be this way.

Pretty Easy

The process was fairly easy, but I did have to look on another website a few times to see exactly what forms I had to file on. I've never used this service before and was actually surprised at how much I was getting back. I sure hope I did it right. I signed up for the expanded assistance in the event there is something wrong or I reported something wrong. I feel better knowing I have some knowledgeable support behind me.

Very scammy and they love to use dark patterns to try to trick you out of your money. It should be illegal to use scammy tactics on people's federal tax returns.

I've used the disc version of Turbo Tax for years. This version seems a bit faster and easier for us old folks without deductions.
