Meh. micro transactions and constant upselling. It's difficult to stay on one paid format without them pushing you to a more expensive version.

Becoming more jaded

I am thinking less of Turbo Tax every year because they keep feeling like they are trying to trick us out of money. Constantly telling us to upgrade, and constantly telling us it will be free when it isn't. I know it IS free if a person only has simple standard 1040 and withut State but since the advertisements don't make it clear it feels misleading. This year more than ever they worked so hard to make it easier that I was worried that some thing were being overlooked. In the past I thought Turbo Tax was misleading but at least I had piece of mind. Now for the sake of trying to be as fast as possible, I have less piece of mind. State return I didn't input or really do anything it felt like. It all looks fine when I reviewed but It just feels like Turbo Tax keeps getting worse and maybe next year the rating will be a 3 or one day I will start looking for other programs for submitting my taxes. It was clear from all of the replies to similar complaints on the face book posts that Intuit has no plans of listening to what we, the customers have to say. 10 years ago I had nothing but good things to say. I used to love everything abut Turbo Tax.

Turo tax sucks

Made me pay for taxes and had to mail my tax return in to Irs. Had to pay $69.00 and still have to mail it.

Turbo Tax is the Way to Go

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. It is easy to use and understand the questions and when it is not clear to me, the explanations are easy to understand. It allows me to go back and review each category before submitting the documents to Federal and State departments.
