This whole product feels like a scam. Every step of the way you’re encouraged to pay more services that they scare you into thinking you need. You used to be able to file your taxes online for free but not anymore.

I didn’t much like how you kept charging for all these extra things. It started out free and it ended up that I owed almost $200 just to use your “free tax filing service”. You managed to take all of my refund from the state and you got some of my Federal refund also. And my taxes are very simple. I was halfway through the process of putting all my information in when I found out that I could not proceed any further without agreeing to pay. I don’t mind paying for a service, but this seemed a little cash-grabby.
