TurboTax made the difference

I've used TurboTax Online every time I've ever filed taxes. This last year I both graduated a trade school and got married, so I knew that this year's returns would be nothing but new territory after only filing my W-2 information as usual. The information made available to me through the Deluxe Edition made the difference between using a brick-and-mortar tax service, or still being able to file by myself and continue my freedom to file without needing to wait for a service to get to me whenever they could. Bravo Intuit for such a service as this.

Constant solicitation. Not free as advertised on every tv channel i watch. makes me watch their ads. Does not save all information that would make filing easy (they always need to know what i filed last year with turbo on Deluxe plan).
Equivalent to Charmin Toilet Paper commercials. I hate your commercials.

Paid too much for simple return

Charged me $79 for Deluxe to file a very simple return with $1500 of 1099-nec income (+ $$ to file state even though there were no state taxes). When I tried to enter expenses, it made me upgrade to Premium. When I decided that we were not going to file expenses, I couldn't downgrade back to Deluxe and had to start over from scratch.
