Turbo Tax needs updating

My computer lost internet in the midst of me entering my tax information. When I started back up I was told that I owed Federal $733. Why because I didn't pay any taxes I knew that was a lie. Fortunately I was able to review my federal and nothing was saved so I had to re-type everything thankfully I went from owing to getting a refund. My question is why that didn't raise any red flag

Charging for whats supposed to be a free app.

Charged me 200$ to file my taxes. When normally its free. I will not be using next year due to this reason.
