Can't even use the free version with just W2s?

It estimated 31 minutes and it took me 2 hours to complete. I only have W2 forms, and no other strange forms or situations and I somehow couldn't use the free version (no idea why), and had to pay $134. My friend gets hers done by someone else and has a whole bunch of complicated stuff to deal with and pays less than that.

Turbotax has become god awful

expensive, hides fees, won't let you back out of 100+ dollar licenses
