Total ripoff. Overly expensive. Not particularly helpful. It was stated the fee could be deducted from the refund at the beginning of the process, only to be denied at checkout time. Sweet. Appreciate that.

Easier this year

Seems to be easier to use this year. Would like to see a truly free tax return for seniors who are on a fixed income. $79 to file a tax return is a lot of money for a senior on a fixed income. Especially when you are not going to receive a return.

I have filed with TT for several years. I like how easy the process is-but dislike how I feel like I get pressured into a more expensive MAX option every year. The advertisement makes it seem like using TT without MAX is unsafe and not optimal. I should be able to standard file with your organization without feeling like I need to pay more money for my private information to be secure.
